
SRINAGAR — Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State General Secretary (Org) Ashok Koul on Tuesday addressed party workers convention here in Srinagar where scores of new faces joined the party.
While welcoming them into the party fold, Ashok Koul explained about various welfare schemes by the Centre. He said that the local leaders should take the Central schemes to the people and win their hearts.
Ashok Koul said that there are dozens of party workers engaged as full timers to work for the party and whole nation is happy to see that many from Kashmir are dedicated for strengthening party in Kashmir who kept the party flag high despite tough times.
He also asked workers to achieve the target of membership drive and work towards strengthening the party at the grass root level.
He asked the members to induct new persons into the party in order to receive a post of pride in the organisation in their respective districts and also at the State level. He assured them that all their genuine issues will be resolved as per their wishes.
Present on the occasion were State Spokesperson Altaf Thakur, District President Srinagar Arif Raja, Media Incharge Kashmir Manzoor Bhat, Office Incharge Kashmir Salinder Singh and others.
