SRINAGAR — BJP senior leader and incharge of Kashmir affairs on Wednesday said that their party is no longer an outsider but a mainstream party in the state.

“BJP is now a mainstream party even though our footprints are not huge but we are no longer an outsider,” Madhav said at a presser here.

According to reports, Madhav said that they are confident they will win two parliamentary seats from Jammu and one in Ladakh.

Madhav criticized NC and PDP saying that they have resorted to means of separatists to woo and instigate people.

“We have urged authorities to register an FIR against Akbar Lone for raising anti-India slogans,” Madhav said.

He said that the claim by regional parties that they are Mujahideen is ‘despicable and shows the working of these parties’.

“They parrot separatism in valley and praise Ram in Delhi. This is their character,” Madhav said.

Madhav also criticized Indian National Congress and said that Rahul Gandhi’s announced minimum wage is a fraud and compared it to ‘promising moon’.
