Police on Sunday registered a case over circulation of a fake photo showing tenth standard student announcing his joining militant outfit Ansar Gazawai Hind in Shopian district of south Kashmir.

Two militants were killed in a gunfight with joint team of Police, Army and CRPF in Saimoh area of Tral in south Kashmir's Pulwama district on Tuesday. While one militant was killed during early morning today, his associate was “neutralized” later, a police official said.

Awantipora Police on Friday claimed to have arrested two militant associates of Ansar Gazwat Ul Hind and Hizbul Mujahideen from Tral and Awantipora areas who are involved in providing shelter, support, logistics and passing sensitive information to the militants of proscribed outfit AuGH and HM.
