Five days after the Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board started receiving job applications for 8,575 Class IV posts, aspirants across J&K are still in confusion as maximum qualification for the posts has been fixed up to 12th standard only.

Jammu & Kashmir Service Selection Board has announced the JKSSB Class-IV (Special Recruitment) 2020 for 8575 Posts.

Meeting the long pending demand of its employees recruited under the Jammu & Kashmir Special Recruitment Rules, 2015 (SRO 202), the government today amended it by issuing Jammu & Kashmir Special Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2020.

Jammu and Kashmir Government today referred 7052 Class-IV vacancies to J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB) under provisions of the Jammu and Kashmir Appointment to Class-IV (Special Recruitment) Rules, 2020.

According to a notification issued here today by the General Administration Department of the Union Territory of J&K, the Government has notified Jammu and Kashmir Appointment to Class-IV (Special Recruitment) Rules, 2020 for appointment to Class IV posts in the UT of J&K.

Nearly 77,000 non-gazetted and Class IV posts are vacant in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
