Despite elapsing over two months, authorities have failed to hold a meeting with search committee constituted for suggesting a panel for appointment of Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) chairman.

According to a notification issued here today by the General Administration Department of the Union Territory of J&K, the Government has notified Jammu and Kashmir Appointment to Class-IV (Special Recruitment) Rules, 2020 for appointment to Class IV posts in the UT of J&K.

The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Friday issued a formal order announcing the winding up of Backward Classes Commission that was constituted under the State Backward Classes Act 1997.
