The Government of India on Saturday extended COVID-19 lockdown till June 30th while issuing new guidelines for lockdown 5.0 with phased re-opening of all activities outside the containment zones across the country.

The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Friday ordered that all educational institutions and training institutions in the Union Territory shall remain closed till June 15.

University of Kashmir (KU) in view of COVID-19 pandemic on Wednesday decided that there will be no end term exams for the current semester and the previous semesters.

Chief Medical Officer Bandipora, Dr Tajamul Hussain lost his cool when he was stopped by police near Nusoo village while on way to visit quarantine centres in the district.

A senior cardiologist posted at SMHS Hospital Srinagar was allegedly thrashed and lodged in Police Station Zadibal for the whole day and was also threatened not reveal he was in the police station.
