Manan Wani’s Killing: Mehbooba pitches for Kashmir solution

Srinagar: After the killing of a highly educated Kashmiri militant, Dr Manan Wani in north Kashmir gunfight, former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti took to twitter and asked to facilitate a solution of Kashmir problem through dialogue with all the stake holders including Pakistan to end this bloodshed.

“Today a PhD scholar chose death over life & was killed in an encounter. His death is entirely our loss as we are losing young educated boys every day,” Mehbooba tweeted.

“It is high time that all the political parties in the country realise the gravity of this situation and try to facilitate a solution through dialogue with all the stake holders including Pakistan to end this bloodshed,” she added.

Manan Wani was a scholar turned Hizb commander who joined the militant ranks in January this year. (CNS)
