Waza condemns killing in Kupwara, supports strike call

Anantnag: Senior APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir People League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza today strongly condemned the killing of teenager – Aarif Ahmad Dar- in Nathsun area of Kupwara.
Waza termed the killing of civilian barbaric and slammed international community for acting as mute spectator to the situation.
Waza, who is under house detention, stated that despite repeated pleas from Kashmiris, international community particularly United Nations has totally failed to provide justice to Kashmiris.
He slammed forces for firing on peaceful protesters and killing teenager in a cold blooded murder.
He paid tributes to the deceased and expressed sympathy with injured who have been hospitalized for bullet injuries.
Waza said that bullets are being showered on innocent Kashmiris to crush the ongoing freedom struggle for which naive Kashmiris have laid down precious sacrifices.
He slammed authorities for using abusive and excessive force on peaceful protesters after Friday prayers.
Waza asked authorities to lift curfew, curbs, and ban on Internet.
He supported APHC’s shutdown call against the brutal killing of Kupwara teenager and asked people to get united against Indian illegal occupation.
