SRINAGAR — In a commendable display of swift action, Kulgam Police responded to a distress call from Mashkoor Ahmad Malik of Humpathri, DK Marag, who reported that his pregnant wife urgently needed medical attention in the far-flung area.

According to information obtained from a local news agency, the family found themselves unable to transport the woman to the hospital due to the challenging circumstances, including recent snowfall and slippery roads.
