RAMBAN — A driver lost his life in a road accident in Ramban district of Jammu division on Wednesday.
An official quoted by a local news agency said that a truck bearing registration number PB35Q-4481 on its way from Jammu towards Srinagar hit a Dumper bearing registration number JK19A-016 near Dalwas.
He said that in the incident, an unknown truck driver died on the spot and the dead body was taken to a hospital for legal formalities.
He said that the driver and helper of the Dumper namely Mohammad Akram and Bahar Ahmad of Sumber Ramban were injured and have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and started an investigation in this regard.
