Two militants, one Army solider killed in Kulgam

Srinagar: Two militants and an Army solider have been killed in an ongoing gunfight in southern Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

Reports said that the gunfight is in progress at Redwani Balla area of Kulgam.

Sources said that two militants and a soldier have been killed in Redwani gunfight, however, there is no official confirmation as of now.

However, reports said clashes broke out near the encounter site in Redwani where at least three militants are believed to be trapped.

Government forces have also cordoned off Hafoo area of Tral town in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district following an exchange of fire with militants.

Pertinently, over 20 people including 17 militants have been killed in the last few days as gunfights erupted in various areas of south Kashmir.
