Forces launch searches in Lajoora village of Pulwama

PULWAMA — Government forces on Friday afternoon launched Cordon and Search Operation in Lonepora area of Lajoora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Official sources said that the operation was launched after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants and a joint team of forces including 55 RR sealed the area.

Locals said that huge contingents of forces are deployed in the area and door to door search operation is going on in the area.

Locals also alleged that the forces didn’t allow them to go for Friday prayers.
