Gunbattle breaks out in Handew village of Shopian

SHOPIAN — A fresh encounter broke out between government forces and militants in Dankar Mohalla in Handew village of Shopian district.

Earlier, forces launched cordon and search operation in the area on basis some information about the presence of militants in the area.

An official said that the CASO was launched by 44 Rashtriya Rifles of Army and Police.
