PULWAMA — Government forces on Sunday morning launched a cordon and search operation in Wahibugh area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama.
Police sources said that on specific inputs about the presence of militants, joint team of forces including 55 RR launched searches in the area.
Local sources said that huge contingents of forces have been deployed and search operation is on in the area.
Meanwhile, the forces have also laid a siege in Ashmander village of Pulwama.
According to local sources, the area has been cordoned off and search operation has been started.
