Fire breaks out in residential houses in Kulgam’s DH Pora

KULGAM — A fire broke out in Damhal Hanji Pora area of southern Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday evening, engulfing residential houses, officials said.

An unnamed official, quoted by the news agency JKNS, said that a fire broke out in Damhal Hanji Pora area of Kulgam, engulfing nearly three to four residential houses.

He said the Fire and Emergency Department was working to douse the flames, and the fire was still active in the area as the report was being filed.

Meanwhile, as per initial reports, no loss of life or any other injury was reported.
