CUK students protest in Press Colony against exam authorities

SRINAGAR — The students of semester 8th of B.A. LL.B. of Central University of Kashmir organized a protest outside Press Colony in Srinagar for fulfillment of their demands.

They were raising slogans against the university administration for being ping ponged by the Coordinator and the Controller of Exams from one Department to another, for the redressal of their grievances.

“We are being ricocheted around amidst the Controller and Department authorities”, they said.

We were asked to intimate the Coordinator once again by the Examination Controller for our grievances, which include announcement at a very short notice, alteration of date sheet without proper notice period. With the result, most students couldn’t attend the university in the morning due to the curfew on Monday.

They were demanding for the date sheet to be changed completely and a proper gap between papers and commencement of exams from 15th July.
