Srinagar: All Board of School Education examinations will be held as per schedule on Saturday, education minister Syed Altaf Bukhari said on Friday.
“The admit cards of students will be treated as curfew passes,” he said.
Earlier, District magistrate Srinagar Syed Abid Rasheed Shah said that restrictions will be imposed within the territorial jurisdiction of six police stations of Srinagar on Saturday.
Complete restrictions will be imposed in areas falling under the jurisdiction of Parimpora, Khanyar, Nowhatta, Safakadal, MR Gunj and Rainawari police stations, he said.
“There will also be partial restrictions within the territorial jurisdiction of Maisuma and Kralkhud police stations,” he said, in a statement.
The district magistrate also said that all schools and colleges in Srinagar will remain closed on November 18.
The move comes in the wake of killing of a Ghazwatul Hind militant Mugees Ahmad Mir in a shootout in Zakura area of Srinagar.
