Shah Rukh Khan wraps up shoot for ‘Dunki’ in Kashmir

SRINAGAR — Amid tight security arrangements, Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan on Thursday visited Pulwama to shoot a scene of his upcoming movie “Dunki”. Khan is in Kashmir 12 years after shooting “Jab Tak Hai Jaan”.

An official told the news agency KNO that Khan reached Panzgam railway station through Sangam-Dogripora-Panzgam road on Thursday morning. He left the place after the shoot in the evening.

With this visit, Khan wrapped up his shooting in Kashmir and he is expected to return to Mumbai tomorrow.

He arrived in the Valley on Monday and straightaway went to Sonamarg. The shooting for a song sequence began in Thajwas area of Sonamarg on Tuesday.

Sonamarg leg of the shoot was for two days after which Khan headed to Srinagar and Pulwama to shoot another sequence that concluded today.

The song is being choreographed by ace choreographer Ganesh Acharya.

“The details about Khan’s movement and shooting were kept under wraps for security reasons. The area where the shooting was taking place was sealed and no movement of the public was allowed,” an official added.
