MHA initiates transfer of IPS officers in AGMUT cadre

SRINAGAR — The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) announced a significant development on Monday, issuing orders for the transfer and posting of two IPS officers within the AGMUT cadre.

In a directive from the MHA, the order states, “Consequent upon repatriation from Central Deputation, two IPS officers of AGMUT Cadre are hereby posted as under with immediate effect and until further orders.”

As per the order, Jatin Narwal, IPS (AGMUT:2006), is being transferred to Delhi, while Rajiv Omprakash Pande, IPS (AGMUT:2010), is being posted to Jammu & Kashmir.

The MHA’s order concludes with, “This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority,” signifying the official approval of the transfers.
