NEW DELHI — Shruti Sharma has been declared the topper of the Union Public Service Commission’s (UPSC) civil services examination 2021, the results of which were released on Monday.

UPSC stated that 685 individuals qualified for the prestigious test, but did not provide any other information on the candidates who were selected.

The examination was topped by Shruti Sharma, with Ankita Agarwal and Gamini Singla emerging second and third, respectively, according to the Commission.

The UPSC conducts the civil services examination in three stages: preliminary, main, and interview, to select officers for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others.
