
SRINAGAR — The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Tuesday announced the final result of the Civil Services Examination for the year 2023.
As per the news agency CNS, the recruiting body said that a total number of 1016 candidates have been recommended for appointment out of which 347 are from the General category, 115 are from the EWS category, 303 are from the OBC category, 165 are from the SC category and 86 from the ST category.
It was further said that the candidature of 355 recommended candidates had been kept provisional.
The recruiting agency said that results will be available on the UPSC website. “Marks will be available on the website within 15 days from the date of declaration of result,” it added.
UPSC 2023 qualifiers from J&K
At least 11 candidates from Jammu and Kashmir have cracked the Union Public Service Commission Civil Services 2023 examination of which results were announced on Tuesday.
Among the selected candidates from Jammu and Kashmir, Anmol Rathore has secured an All India Rank of 7th in UPSC 2023 results. Hailing from Udrana village in Bhadarwah area, Anmol has been a topper of the JKAS 2022 exams.
According to the news agency KNO, the other candidates who have cracked the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2023 include Arjun Gupta with 32nd rank, Manan Bhat with 88th rank, Harnit Singh Sudan with 177th rank and Mohammad Haris Mir with 345th rank.
Similarly, the J&K Police officer Farhan She of Dooru Bragham in southern Anantnag district has secured 369th rank followed by Aparajita Aryan with 381st rank, Ghulam Maya Din with 388th rank, Suvarn Sharma with 412th rank, Seerat Baji with 516th rank and Dinash Kumar with 1003rd rank.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha on micro-blogging website X congratulated Anmol Rathore and other shortlisted candidates.
Sinha said, “Heartiest congratulations to Anmol Rathore (AIR:7) and all aspirants from J&K who have cleared UPSC CSE-2023. Your remarkable achievements will inspire the youth of J&K. Best wishes to all the successful candidates.”
