TRAL — Joint Forces busted a militant hide-out in Midoora Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Official sources said that during a routine search operation in the orchards, Joint Forces unearthed a militant hideout.

They said that some rusty utensils and cooking items, besides shoes and socks were recovered from the hideout.

Police in this regard have registered a case under relevant sections of law.

Militant hideout busted in Kishtwar: Police

Police on Friday claimed to have busted a militant hideout in Tillar Marwah area in Kishtwar district of Jammu.

In a statement to GNS, the police said that Kishtwar Police on specific information launched a CASO along with 11RR in general area of Tillar forest of Marwah in which a hideout was busted and a huge catch of arms and ammunition was recovered.

The police spokesman, while giving details of the recoveries made, said that one Pistol, eight Pistol rounds, one Chinese grenade, three UBGL grenades, three RPG rounds, three explosive sticks, one IED remote and one pressure cooker was recovered.

Accordingly, an FIR was registered at Police Station Marwah under relevant sections of law and an investigation was taken up, reads the statement.
