LG chairs first Unified High Command meet in Jammu

JAMMU — Lieutenant Governor of J&K, Manoj Sinha today chaired a crucial Unified High Command meeting in Jammu to review the prevailing security scenario in the UT and to chalk out a summer strategy.

Reliable sources said that LG Sinha chaired a meeting of UHC at Jammu where in all officers of Police, Army, CRPF, BSF and Intelligence were present.

The sources, privy to the agenda of the meeting, revealed that a powerpoint presentation has been made for the LG on various aspects of security situation in Kashmir, status of infiltration on LoC, operational preparedness of forces besides data pertaining to anti-militancy operations, law and order scenario.

This is the first UHC meeting held under the chairmanship of LG Sinha ever since he assumed the charge of LG of the UT.
