
SRINAGAR — J&K College Teachers Association (JKCTA), while welcoming the decision of Secretary Higher Education Department, Talat Parvaiz to start online classes for the students studying in degree colleges of Jammu and Kashmir, has observed that due to poor network connectivity, the teachers as well as students are facing a lot of difficulties in smooth access of online classes.
The president of the association, Prof. Tariq Ashai in a statement said that lot of students have got themselves registered to avail the benefits of online classes, in view of the COVID-19 crisis but are facing difficulties due to non-availability of 4G services.
Prof. Ashai appealed the Lieutenant Governor G.C. Murmu for restoration of 4G services which will facilitate the smooth conduct of online classes under the present unfavorable and extraordinary situation and shall be a big relief for the student community at this point of time.
