J&K Government orders administrative reshuffle

SRINAGAR — The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has initiated a series of transfers and postings within the administration, effective immediately, according to an official announcement on Monday.

In the reshuffle, Ajaz Abdullah Saraf, JKAS, previously serving as Additional Registrar, Cooperatives, Kashmir, has been appointed as the Additional Transport Commissioner, J&K, filling a vacant position.

Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, JKAS, who was serving as Executive Director of the J&K Entrepreneurship Development Institute, has been reassigned as Special Secretary in the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, J&K.

Further changes include the transfer of several officials to various key positions across different districts and departments. Notably, Bashir Ahmad Wani, JKAS, previously serving as Additional District Development Commissioner in Anantnag, has been shifted to Kulgam, while Altaf Ahmad Khan, JKAS, moves from Kupwara to take up the role of Additional Registrar, Cooperatives, Kashmir.

Other transfers include Abdul Aziz Sheikh, JKAS; Gulzar Ahmad Bhat, JKAS; Showkat Ahmad Rather, JKAS; Rimpy Ohri, JKAS; Krishan Lal, JKAS; Nazir Ahmad Mir, JKAS; Mohd. Tanwir, JKAS; Zaffar Shawl, JKAS; Harbans Lal, JKAS; Abdul Star, JKAS; Kulbushan Khajuria, JKAS; Aziz Ahmad Rather, JKAS; Varunjeet Charak, JKAS, and Pawan Kumar, JKAS.
