Administration creates local COVID-19 Fund in Pulwama

PULWAMA — Amidst the reeling coronavirus pandemic and the unprecedented situation created by it, district administration Pulwama is making unrelenting efforts in creating quarantines and other essential facilities for the people having travel history in particular and for the public in general.

In this regard, a local COVID-19 fund has been created for officers to donate and contribute to the cause of fighting against COVID-19 pandemic. District Magistrate Pulwama, Dr. Raghav Langer pledged his one month’s salary towards it and exhorted others to come forward.

The aim of the initiative is to create a fund which can fortify the efforts of Government and generate a spirit of volunteerism among the officers of the district for working in unison in the time of crisis and emergency.
