KHREW — The Army Major from JAKLI regiment of Wuyan camp on Tuesday morning apologized to the Khrew residents, particularly the shopkeepers and vehicle owner who suffered damaged when Army went berserk in Khrew area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday evening.

One of the shopkeepers said that the concerned Major also assured them of compensation in return of damage suffered by the shopkeepers and vehicle owners.

The general public have termed the apology as an act of bravery and hoped that no such incident would be repeated in future.

Meanwhile, when contacted, PRO Rajesh Kalia denied to comment on the veracity of the news.
