Body of man from Sarai Bala Srinagar found

SRINAGAR — Body of a 50-year-old man was found near GB Pant Hospital here on Monday, officials said.

A police officer said that locals spotted the body near the hospital and accordingly, contacted concerned police station.

Later, a police team reached the spot and retrieved the body.

The deceased has been identified as a resident of Sarai Bala who was known by nickname ‘Tita’, the official said.

He said that a case under the relevant Section of law has been also registered and further investigation was taken up.
