Budgam: Injured employee succumbs to injuries

SRINAGAR — A government employee, who was attacked by militants this afternoon at the tehsil office in central Kashmir’s Budgam district, has succumbed to his injuries.

Official sources told the news agency Kashmir Dot Com that the injured employee succumbed to his injuries at SMHS hospital.

Earlier, the deceased was identified as Rahul Bhatt, a Kashmiri Pandit, who was working in the Budgam tehsil office’s Revenue Department.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and have launched a massive search to nab the attackers.
