Srinagar: A Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched early morning on Monday by government forces in Murran area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Reports said that government forces launched a search operation in the area following specific input about militant presence in Bonpora and Sheikhpora areas of the village.

They said a heavy contingent of forces have reached the area and are conducting door-to-door searches in the area.

The area is a native village of active militant Showat Ahmad Dar aka Badshah Khan.
