
SRINAGAR — As many as 100 sheep and goats died in Tral area of south Kashmir due to the cloudburst in upper pastures of the area. The incident took place during the intervening night of Saturday.
Officials in Sheep Husbandry Department said that the cloudburst hit Bradi Angan area of Tral and left over hundred sheep and goats dead while as scores of animals are missing.
“Around 50 sheep and goats have been found so far while as others are yet to be recovered,” the official said.
They said that a team of doctors have reached to the spot to access the situation in the area.
