PULWAMA — Civil Society Pulwama has appealed the people in the district to follow strictly the guidelines issued by the government and health experts on preventing the spread of COVID-19.

In a statement issued here, the Civil Society Pulwama said that in absence of any treatment for the COVID-19 pandemic, maintaining social distance is the only prevention and people should follow it and come out of their homes only in extreme exigencies.

The Society has appealed the welfare organisations and philanthropists to come forward to join hands to help needy persons during this distressing time.

The Society has urged residents of the district to call Chairman of the Society, Ghulam Nabi Malik (9906180776) for any emergency.

It has appealed people not to hoard or resort to sell at exorbitant rates as there is all likelihood that due to lockdown, people may face difficulties.
