Driving skill test postponed in Anantnag due to rainfall

ANANTNAG — The Office of the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO), Anantnag, has postponed the driving skill test scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, 2025, due to inclement weather and intermittent rains across the region.

According to an official notice issued by ARTO Anantnag, quoted by the news agency KNC, the test will now be conducted on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.

The department cited safety concerns and unfavourable weather conditions as the reason for the rescheduling.

“Due to inclement weather and intermittent rains, the driving skill test scheduled for today stands postponed and has been rescheduled for August 6. The same has been conveyed through SMS as well,” read the official notice issued by the ARTO Office Anantnag.
