SRINAGAR — A fire incident early on Saturday morning resulted in significant damage to at least three residential houses in Solina, Srinagar.
According to an official from the F&ES (Fire and Emergency Services) Department, the fire outbreak occurred around 4:30 AM in Solina, prompting an immediate response from firefighting personnel and equipment to contain the blaze.
“Our teams, in collaboration with civilians, worked persistently to bring the fire under control,” stated the F&ES Department official.
The intense efforts eventually succeeded in containing the fire; however, the incident caused varying degrees of damage to three residential properties in the area, both directly and indirectly affected by the flames.
No casualties were reported, but the incident caused distress and material loss to the affected families.
