Forces fire warning shots during searches in Pulwama village

PULWAMA — Government forces fired some warning shots after laying siege in a hamlet of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Sources said that soldiers from 50 Rashtriya Rifles, 183 Battalion CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police have cordoned off Laroo, Kakapora village of Pulwama.

During the operation, the forces fired several aerial shots but so for no contact with militants has been established.

The search operation was underway till the filing of this report.
