PULWAMA — Government forces on Saturday morning launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Astan Mohalla of Panzgam village and other areas in Kulpora and Panzgam village of Pulwama district.
Official sources said that the search operation was launched on basis of specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
“A joint team of forces including 55 RR has launched search operation in the area,” an official said.
Locals said that huge contingents of forces were deployed in the area.
Search operation was going on when the report was filed.
