Geelani to move court against seizure of TeH Calendars

Srinagar, Dec 13: Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, Syed Ali Shah Geelani on Tuesday said that he would approach the court against police seizing the calendars of party and harassing vendors for selling these.
“This is sheer dictatorship and we won’t tolerate it. We will approach the court,” Geelani told reporters here.
The calendar carried names of people with respective dates who got killed in the firing by Indian troops. In 2010 uprising alone, 122 people were killed in the streets of Kashmir. Unlike past uprisings in Kashmir, in 2010 uprising the victims were mostly teenagers.
