Gunfight: Another militant killed in Hakripora

SRINAGAR — One more militant has been killed in an ongoing encounter in Hakripora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Official sources said that two militants have been killed in the initial exchange of firing. However, identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.

Pertinently, two militants were killed in an overnight encounter in Shopian.

Earlier, reports reaching here said that a joint team of Police and Army’s 50RR launched a cordon and search operation in Hakripora.

As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
