SRINAGAR — Fresh firing resumed between militants and government forces in Warpora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday morning.
SSP Sopore Javeed Iqbal said that fresh firing has resumed at encounter site today morning after the operation was halted yesterday evening due to darkness.
The officer further said that no militant has been killed yet neither any militant body has been recovered so far.
Pertinently, yesterday a police officer among two cops were injured in the ongoing gunfight when militants fired upon from outer cordon on a police party.
