Srinagar: Militant outfit Hizb-ul-Mujahideen on Monday disowned the militant, Sarfaraz Ahmad Sheer who was arrested in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district today.
Hizb’s operational spokesman, Burhan-u-Din in a tele-statement condemned the police claims, saying that Sarfaraz was not affiliated with Hizb.
He said, “Police claims about the arrest of Hizb militant came as a surprising joke to them.” (KNS)
