KULGAM — With less than 10 hours to go for polling in Kulgam district, clashes erupted in many areas of the district in Southern Kashmir.
Reports reaching to KNO said that youth pelted stones on government forces as well as polling staff at many places, which was retialated by tear smoke and sound shells, triggering clashes.
Local sources told KNO that clashes erupted in Mohammadpora, Okay, Kellam, Khudwani, Ashmuji and Manzgam area of the district.
The polling in Kulgam district is scheduled to start at 7 am in morning and end at 4 am in evening on Monday.
