Journalist Fahad Shah’s uncle passes away; PJF condoles

SRINAGAR — Journalist and Editor-in-Chief of The Kashmir Walla magazine, Fahad Shah’s maternal uncle passed away on Tuesday morning.

Sheikh Ashiq Hussain son of Late Sheikh Rehmat Ullah passed away after a protracted illness at his residence in Srinagar on Tuesday early morning.

The Fatiha Khawani of the deceased will be held on Friday, 28 May 2021 at 2:30 PM at graveyard near Masjid-i-Anjum, Qamarwari, Srinagar, Kashmir.

There is no congregational gathering at the deceased’s home due to the ongoing pandemic.

Meanwhile, Pulwama Journalists Federation (PJF) has condoled the sad demise of Fahad’s uncle.

In a condolence message, interim president PJF Nisar ul Haq expressed heartfelt condolences and expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Sheikh Ashiq.

Other members of the Federation have also expressed their sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
