BUDGAM — The leopard, which had triggered panic in villages close to the Khansahab area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district, was successfully caged by forest personnel on Saturday.
Official sources said that the leopard that had hunted down the goats and sheep was captured in Khudpora village of Khansahab.
They said leopard was captured after the villagers informed the Wildlife Department about its presence.
Subsequently, Forest Department’s personnel swung into action and captured the leopard after tranquilizing it.
