LeT militant arrested during CASO in Kakapora Pulwama

PULWAMA — A newly recruited militant of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) was arrested by the government forces in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, police said on Friday.

The militant was arrested after a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched in Sethargund area of Kakapora in Pulwama district.

“On specific information, a CASO was launched in which one militant identified as Shanaf Akbar Bhat of Khadermoh Kakapora of LeT was arrested along ammunition,” a police officer said.

Police said a case has been registered and investigations were taken up.
