Srinagar: Incarcerated chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik was on Wednesday brought to Srinagar court after the completion of his 12 day remand.

According to the statement to KNS, Malik who has been in central Jail Srinagar from last 12 days was today presented before 2nd additional sessions judge who extended his remand for 14 more days and ordered to sent him to Srinagar central jail.

The spokesman said that the amalgam chief was immediately shifted back to central jail after court hearing.

Meanwhile, the spokesman quoted that JKLF chief as saying, “A reign of terror has been unleashed in Kashmir and killing with impunity and jailing young and old has become an order of the day.”

He said that all this ‘oppression’ is going on to make the “Indian election drama’ a success and all pro-India politicians, their political parties and the rulers are directly involved in these killings and other ‘oppressive measures’.

JKLF chairman while ridiculing the recent statement of Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti on Chadoora killings said, “She being the Chief Minister and also the home minister is actually responsible for issuing orders to ‘killer forces and police.’“How can she become a judge and remain the head of oppression at the same time,” said JKLF chairman.

“How can she become a judge and remain the head of oppression at the same time,” said JKLF chairman.

He said that Mehbooba is trying to act as an empire and instead of stopping the hands of forces is busy accusing those killed and ‘oppressed’. “This shows that she for the lust of power has lost every bit of humanity and political decency,” said Malik.

JKLF chairman said that it is she and her India that have choked every political space on youth, who are killing the young ones with impunity and who are pushing the new generation to the wall therefore instead of blaming others for promotion of violence and issuing shameless sermons, she should introspect her deeds first.

He said, “The way police personal yesterday targeted the heads and chests of our innocent young ones is a testimony of enmity, India and the state government have with Kashmiris.”

Asking people of Kashmir to remain vigilant and recognize these ‘oppressors’, JKLF incarcerated chairman said, “The Indian elections only strengthens the hands of oppressors and occupation and as a living nation we all should stay away from any kind of participation in these farce elections.”

While condemning the nocturnal raids on Muhammad Yasin Butt and Zahoor Ahmad Butt’s residences and harassing their families, Malik said, “Police raided the residences of JKLF leaders, searched their residences and harassed their families.”

Terming these raids and spree of arrests as ‘undemocratic and police highhandedness’, JKLF chairman said, “Scores of JKLF leaders and activists including JKLF zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri (PSA), District president Ganderbal Bashir Ahmad Rather (Boya)(PSA), Abdul Sattar (district president Kulgam), Mushtaq Ahmad Mir (PSA), Molvi Reyaz (PSA), Faisal Aslam (PSA), Zahoor Ahmad Khan, Ashiq Hussain (PSA), Tanveer Ahmad Ilahi (PSA), Jan Muhammad Parray, Irfan Ahmad Khan, Sahib khan and others are languishing in jails and police stations under PSA or other acts and are facing hardships in jails.”

He said jails and police stations have been filled with thousands of elderly and young only to ‘stage the drama of elections’. (KNS)
