
SRINAGAR — Militants on Monday afternoon opened fire on a CRPF Naka party in Babapora village in south Kashmir’s Shopian district. However, no losses to life or injuries have been reported in the incident.
Officials said that a CRPF party of 178 Battalion came under attack in Babapora village. The militants, after firing several shots towards the Naka party, fled the spot, they said.
No loss to life or injuries has been reported in the incident, they said.
It has been leant that a siege has been laid in and around the area to nab the assailants.
