Militants attack Police Station Shopian

SRINAGAR — Suspected militants on Monday evening lobbed a grenade towards Police Station Shopian.

An official said that the grenade was thrown towards the Police Station Shopian which, however, exploded outside.

“The grenade exploded with the wall of police station and grenade was followed by firing which was retaliated,” he said.

The official, however, said that there were no injuries to anyone and area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
