Minor boy ‘sodomised’ in Shopian

SRINAGAR — A minor boy was allegedly sodomised by his neighbour in Zarkan area of south-Kashmir’s Shopian district.

A police official while talking to GNS said that they have a received a complaint from a person wherein he has alleged that his minor son was sodomised by a person who happens to be his neighbour.

In response to the written complaint by the victim’s father, an FIR number 39/2019 has been lodged against the accused under section 377 of RPC and relevant sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO), the official said.
