Missing Bijbehara duo arrested in Doda

BIJBEHARA — Two youth from Bijbehara town of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, who had gone missing from their homes earlier this month, were arrested in Doda region of Jammu on Friday.

Officials said that the duo had gone missing earlier this month following which their families had filed missing complaint on January 25 for the help to trace their sons.

Today, both the missing persons were arrested by Doda Police and accordingly handed over to Bijbehara Police Station, they said while identifying the duo as Umaq Mushtaq Zargar, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar of Karewah Colony and Ufaid Peerzada, son of Peer Wakeel Ur Rehman of Baba Mohalla, who as per the officials had gone missing on January 24, 2021 in the afternoon.

Officials added that further investigation in this regard is going on.
