SRINAGAR — Authorities blocked mobile Internet services in south Kashmir on Friday.
A top police officer said that Internet service was suspended in south Kashmir as Pakistan is organizing Kashmir Solidarity Day, the daily Rising Kashmir reported.
”Pakistan is launching a propaganda to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day on 5th of February. To stop the propaganda, the government may have blocked Internet in south Kashmir,” said the police officer.
He added that there is no information about when the services will be restored.
